1999 Bay Egyptian Arabian Mare
Competing in Sporthorse In-Hand
Salima Zaphina VI is a beautiful senior mare, purchased from Stephanie of Vargas Inc [ISG] we
were very proud to be able to purchase Vargas Inv homebred and then export her to our all-sim Maghara
Arabians where she is currently being shown in the AHAC. We were very suprised when we researched her
showrecord with the AHAC and found that she had been previously shown with the AHAC in late 2006 and early
2007. Salima Zaphina is doing very well within the AHAC having competed in only in-hand classes as we feel that
she is rather to old to be trained only now for any sporthorse events. Salima Zaphina is a very
gentle mare and we are very comfortable with her that we allow young children to play with her and ride
her, we know that she will never hurt them but as the children are only young we still keep an eye out
just incase something happens. She loves being taken to shows and we feel that if we didn't take her
along with us, she wouldn't have anything to live for and would just waste away back at the stable, she
gets so much joy out of being at the show and seems to like to watch the other competitors before he own
class.
